This is Jinsy, the Sky Atlantic comedy about the surreal Island of Jinsy, featuring Alice Lowe and Colin Hoult amongst its cast, will include some exciting new guest stars in its second series.

Indeed, a TVO-related artist has been confirmed as one of those who will be making an appearance: Katy Brand! She’ll star as Madame Astralina, a flamboyant psychic who obtains her readings from a pen of rats (of course). Also confirmed for series two are Ben Miller,Dame Eileen Atkins, Sir Derek Jacobi, Stephen Mangan, Phil Davis, Olivia Colman and Rob Brydon.

The new series is set to broadcast in 2013; Executive Producer Chris Carey has said about it: “Series two will be bigger, better and funnier. More songs, the return of our titanic tag team of director Matt Lipsey and editor Charlie Phillips, but most importantly another opportunity for Chris and Justin to put on wigs and generally tit around with stuffed animals.”
