Film fans in Germany and Canada will have a chance to see The Sightseers ahead of its general release in the next few weeks.

On Tuesday, August 21st, Alice Lowe and Steve Oram will be guests of honour for the film’s German première at Fantasy Filmfest, Berlin.  The following day, the pair will host another showing of the film at the festival’s Hamburg branch.  For more info on the festival, and to buy tickets visit it’s official website here.

The film will then be debuting in North America at the Toronto Filmfest between September 6th and 16th.  Go here to find out more.

The Sightseers will go on general release in the UK on November 30th.  It stars Alice & Steve, who co-wrote the film alongside Amy Jump, and is directed by Ben Wheatley.

With a sizeable supporting role for Richard Glover and cameos by Tony Way, Tom Meeten and Antony Elvin, we were already sure you wouldn’t want to miss this one… and having been lucky enough to see the film ourselves, recently, we can assure you the end result is every bit as wonderful as we hoped.
