Welcome To The Places Of My Life
Next week sees the long awaited return of Alan Partridge to our TV screens.
Back in the late 90s, the then deeply troubled broadcaster told BBC Commissioner Tony Hayers that: “If you don’t do it… Sky will.” – and rarely has that been more evident than in the output of Sky Atlantic.
Their latest foray into the realm of the Onion is the first of several Partridge projects as part of their new deal with BabyCow Productions, which we told you about recently.
This one off special sees Alan touring his hometown of Norwich, reflecting on his life there and the history of the town, as well as meeting members of the general public. You can see a preview clip below.
Good to have you back, Alan. Alan Partridge: Welcome To The Places Of My Life airs on Monday June 25th at 9pm on Sky Atlantic, and will be followed by another special – Alan Partridge: On Open Books With Martin Bryce – next week, and a full series of Mid Morning Matters later this year.
We’re sure these specials will be available on dvd and blu-ray in the near future, but in the meantime, you can catch up on Past Partridge in The Velvet Onion Store.
