A brand new instalment of Peeder Jigson’s The Hobbit video diaries is now online, in which the director gets his first look at the special effects sound-stage designed for the film.

Peeder, who appears to be in cohorts with James Bachman, doesn’t seem best pleased in this edition, as technicians with startling likenesses to Gareth Tunley and Tony Way appear to be hindering his vision.

Speaking of Bachman & Tunley, of course – the pair are set to appear at The Velvet Onion Live on May 31st, and we’re working on persuading the elusive Jigson to take time out of his hectic schedule to make an appearance.
