Sharon Horgan will be starring in one of the BBC’s top family films this Christmas season.

She will be appearing alongside Stephen Fry, Victoria Wood, Christopher Eccleston, Robert Sheehan and Aisling Loftus in an modern-day adaptation of The Borrowers. Horgan plays the part of the mother of Arrietty Clock, a head-strong teenage Borrower who is keen to explore life outside her hidden family home. Christopher Eccleston plays the father.

So far we know that the film will air on BBC1 but we don’t know when exactly.  The full schedule for the Christmas period will be available in early December, so we’ll be sure to let you know then.
