BBC Three begins a repeat season of the first series of Mongrels tonight.

The show, which details the misadventures of metrosexual urban fox Nelson, his hard as nails relative Vince, pub dog Destiny, confused stray cat Marion and psychotic pigeon Carly, was a smash hit for the channel when it emerged last year – and has a seriously impressive connection or two to TVO.

Most obvious is the inclusion of the wonderful Tony Way as Destiny’s put-upon owner Gary, while the hapless canine herself is voiced by Lucy Montgomery.  With the likes of Rufus Jones, Dan Tetsell, Katy Brand and Paul Kaye filling out the regular voice cast, the show frequently features celebrity cameos to die for – and recent filming for the just-wrapped second series featured none other than Rich Fulcher!  We’ll be bringing you more news on series two at a later date… right now, BBC3 are offering you a chance to catch up first!
