Horrible Histories, the BAFTA-award winning kids’ TV series which features Simon Farnaby, Ben Willbond and Alice Lowe, is going prime time!

Since its launch the CBBC show, which also stars Laurence Rickard, Matthew Baynton, Martha Howe-Douglas and Jim Howick has built up a loyal, cult following and won a string awards thanks to its pin-sharp comedy and fresh approach to the subject of history. Now it has a new look and a mainstream time slot: 6pm on BBC1 on Sundays. The new format will feature the best sketches from the first two series, with added insight and historical nuggets from Stephen Fry.

The first show of six broadcasts this Sunday, 19th June at 6pm. Tune in and find out what all the fuss is about; afterall, why should the kids have all the fun?
