The Government Inspector Wants YOU!

All good peelers will know that Julian Barratt will be starring in the forthcoming run of The Government Inspector at the Warwick Arts Centre and the Young Vic.
Today the Young Vic has invited the public to pose questions about the play to its cast. In addition to Barratt this includes Smack the Pony’s Doon Mackichan, former Colin Hoult double act partner Fergus Craig and Kyle Soller. The request came via the theatre’s twitter account, and states, “Any q’s for #JulianBarratt, #DoonMackichan or #KyleSoller about#GovernmentInspector? Let us know by 11am tmw! A selection will be answered.” We haven’t been able to ascertain where or when the answers to the questions will be shared, but rest assured we’ll keep digging around until we find out.
So if you’ve been wondering why our man from Leeds has been getting into Russian drama recently, or whether the voice coaching lessons that Noel mentioned to us have worked, now’s your chance to ask him. Simply reply to the tweet on the Young Vic’s twitter profile here before 11am tomorrow (Wednesday).
On other Government Inspector news, it seems the UK press are already eagerly anticipating this particular production. Pieces in the Independent and Time Out have appeared in the past week! If you haven’t got your tickets yet, isn’t it about time you visited the Young Vic’s Government Inspector page over here?
Editor’s Note: The cast’s answers to the questions will be posted on their blog here. In fact, the first lot, from actor Graham O’Mara who plays Mishka in the play, were posted today. Of course, we’ll let you know when Julian’s are up.
Happy Birthday Julian. Have a good one. Love ya xx
