It runs from 6th May to 2nd June and also includes set performance pieces.  This exhibition features portraits of Rich Fulcher, Dave Brown and Mike Fielding, and entry is free!

In 2008 Bird painted Noel Fielding (as seen above), Julian Barratt and Robots in Disguise, so it’s nice to see that he’s finally completing the set.  You can watch a video of him painting Noel and Julian on his website by clicking the ‘intro movie’ tab at the top of the homepage.

While we’re on the subject of art, you may also be interested to hear that Noel’s art teacher from his college days, Dexter Dalwood, has just been nominated for the prestigious Turner Prize.  You clearly have a lot to live up to, Mr Fielding!

For more information on Bird’s exhibition, see the flyer for the event on his website.

Editors note: Thanks to ‘Tiddles’ for drawing our attention to this event.
