NME TV & Vlad Returns
Tv listings for the NME Awards 2010 were confirmed this week, which feature a number of Boosh related nominations.

Radio Times has confirmed a 90 minute transmission on Channel 4 of the edited awards ceremony on Friday 26th February at 11:25pm. The following morning the channel’s popular teen strand T4 will broadcast their usual report from the night, at 11:10am. This will no doubt include red carpet interviews and, if previous years are anything to go by, performances cut from the previous night’s show. For example – last year’s 30 minute closing set from The Cure was never shown in full, but two numbers were broadcast during the awards ceremony, and another was shown during the T4 special. Other numbers, including additional performances from other artists, were not shown.
Both of these listings appear to confirm our suspicions – that Noel Fielding will join indie-rockers Kasabian on-stage for a live performance, most likely of Vlad The Impaler. Will it happen? Keep peeling the onion to find out!
You can see the original video for Vlad… here, directed by Richard Ayoade, no less.
Even in these “quiet times” there really does seem to be a lot actually happening it the world of Boosh, if one looks for and compiles it! 😉
