The Velvet Onion Calendar 2012
The Velvet Onion are pleased to bring you our exclusive 2012 calendar!
We’ve been working with a number of our friends both in front of the camera and behind it, to bring you twelve great shots to print out and stick up on your wall between January 1st and December 31st.
With a fantastic new design from Velveteer Lauren “Lozzy” Taylor, inspired by the beautiful design work Peeler Kerrie Leisch provided for the site back in 2010, we really hope you like the results – which are available for a free download below!

The photos of paul, Noel and Dave don’t really seem to fit in with it. All the others seem more ‘professional’ (lack of a better word) looking whereas these two have just been taken at a show and a signing. It seems as though better photos ould have been chosen for this, though the other months are great. Days of the week are a bit hard to read in some months but if you don’t know what the days are anyway then I don’t think it matters if you have a calender or not.
Well, I guess there’s no such thing as negative criticism… and generosity is a funny old concept, isn’t it?
RE: Paul Foot’s photo – That’s the picture that he wanted us to include. We would’ve put in whatever he asked, really, provided we could get it to work.
RE: Noel & Dave – We were hoping, right up to the last minute, to bring you a photo from Luxury Comedy, but sadly the need to maintain an air of mystique about the show for a few more weeks made that an impossibility. The photo we do include was posed for by the boys, for us.
Sorry it’s not quite up to the standards you were hoping. We did what we could, with what we had, for free – with Lozzy working over Christmas to get this up in time. All we can do is take your comments on board for 2013′s Calendar, eh?

Amazing! Now I won’t feel so sad about taking this year’s one down! I feel like us readers should be repaying you for all these end of year treats and the hard work you guys put in week in week out. Thank you so much, TVO team, for your tireless work and for going out of your ways to give your readers so much on such a regular basis. Here’s to another brilliant year! Xx

A beautiful calender with wonderful colour schemes! I love the ripped border effect and the images are so very clear and succinct. Let us toast to the health of Senorita Taylor for her exquisite composition!
