I think it is genius. The cultural references give the back bone to the strange and weurd comedy. Watching a second time the rich layers made me laugh. I hope another series gets made as people need to be taken out of their comfort zone. We have a strong tradition of this on British tele going back to Monty Python. Hang in there nobody got the Boosh in the early days. Anyway things have to change to remain relevant and this should be a new experience in its own right and not rehash of the Boosh. Love it!!!!!

My reaction to this episode was completely different to the first one, I enjoyed it much more as I was more prepared on what I was going to get. I still think it's not quite laugh out loud funny, but more of an entertaining road trip through the oddities of Noel's mind. It felt much more comforting than the first episode, and I enjoyed the characters having already seen them once. Daddy push is still my absolute favourite, he brought a rather large grin to my face with his origami nonsense this week (:

I did read the article actually, and to be fair no part of it says anything about how many episodes there are. I hadn't had time to look at the luxury comedy website until last night and I must have missed the bit about the launch period winding down the first time around. Which is fairly subtle, so sorry if I just jumped to a conclusion.

Heart you Mog!

LOVE the second show! I liked it even better than the first episode. I was wishing for a straight man on the first show. But didn't miss it a bit in the second. Thanks to the lovely people posting it for us on You Tube for us in the states to enjoy. Way to go Noel and crew!

Henri Rousseau , known in France as "Douanier Rousseau " is also a major influence ; we can see part of one of his pictures on the wall and the jungle surroundings are also inspired by his work.
I'm glad Frida Kahlo also appeared in the second episode ; you could perhaps add Julie Taymor's film ("Frida") to your Amazon store selection ; Salma Hayek is great in it !( a bit sexier than Tom Meeten! )
And why not add Méliès 's " A Trip to the Moon " too ?
Anyway , bravo pour votre travail et votre passion !!
