Day 23 – 90 Seconds Of Barratt

For some of us, today is the day before Christmas and for others, it’s the day before the day before Christmas. Complicated much?! Either way, today is a good day so let us celebrate it as one should.
Who doesn’t like the concept of Julian Barratt speaking French in black and white? This all comes true in the short How To Tell When A Relationship Is Over In 90 Seconds from 2003. The short tells the story of a crumbling relationship and the signs that could be signalling the nearing end.
Or as BBC themselves put it “Boy meets girl. Boy gets girl. Girl gets sick of boy. Boy gets sick of girl. Big Fight. The End.”
Watch Julian Barratt, Susan Earl and Grant Gillespie in this 90 second short by Tony Roche (it has been said that it was made in Roche’s own kitchen for about £15).
Which of the signs is your favourite?
Thanks for posting. Can’t get enough of Julian! My favorite: the index of faults.
Mmmyep. Have to go with the Index too.
