Noble & Animated: Colin Attempts

14 Apr

A few weeks ago we mentioned that Kim Noble had produced an animated short for the BBC. Now Colin Attempts: Popularity (Part 1)  has been joined by two sibling films, which are well worth taking a look at.

Colin Attempts: Popularity (Part 2) sees the wildly distorted plasticine shape of Colin once again doing his utmost to drum up online social support. And Colin Attempts: Women finds him trying to woo the ladies.  Clever, dark and just a bit trippy – these shorts feel a bit like the bastard child of Charlie Brooker and Luxury Comedy. Wallace & Gromitt they are not.  Brilliant stuff!

You can view the two latest films below. And if you missed the first one, then click here to take a look.
