Tonight you can find out all the in’s and out’s of mothering with Sharon Horgan.

She takes a step in a different direction from her comedy appearances this time (she can be spotted usually beside Alice Lowe in Lifespam and has also made appearances in some Jackal Films) – in this documentary How To Be A Good Mother, Sharon – with two daughters herself – finds out from several other mothers the sometimes unconventional parenting that they carry out.

You can see the approach taken by a stunt-lady-mother, the anti-nappy parent, a placenta-lover, and who knows what else; tonight on Channel 4 at 10pm! If you can’t catch the original transmission then it will be available on 4OD later.

You can find out more from Sharon herself as she discussed her new show, plus more when the Metro met with her for a chat.
