Simon Farnaby has confirmed that he will be performing in the famous BBC Proms season at the Royal Albert Hall in London!

Farnaby will be appearing as part of the cast in in Prom 20: Horrible Histories, a live interpretation of the award-winning CBBC TV series. The performance takes place next Saturday, 30th July at 11am and 2pm. The cast from the TV show will be backed by children’s choirs and the Aurora Orchestra, with songs from the series interspersed with music by composers such as King Henry VIII, Lully, Mozart and others.

The Proms website states that “seated (free) seats for the event have now sold out”, but if you’re interested in going it’s worth contacting the box office to find out if other tickets are still available. Failing that, you can listen to it on BBC Radio 3 (live and for 7 days after broadcast). The performance will also be filmed for a future TV broadcast – click here for details.
