We at The Velvet Onion may not have been quick enough to pick up on this one peelers, but this little chat that Richard Ayoade had with 6music’s Shaun Keaveny this morning is still avaliable for you to hear for the next 7 days.

It’s not too late to have a listen (if you haven’t already – or if you want to listen again!) over on iPlayer so hover your mouses over here to hear Richard talking about his debut feature Submarine.

Ayoade enters the studio at around 2 hours 13 minutes into the show.

He was also on BBC Breakfast and E4. He’s probably been interviewed on other things aswell, considering all the love he’e been getting for Submarine.

It seems we just can’t catch up with him and his massive publicity round!

Thanks for the heads up, Jenny. If anyone else spots him on something that we’ve missed (or any of the artists we cover for that matter), please do let us know so we can share it with everyone.

He was also on 6Music on Saturday afternoon, on the ‘It’s My Party’ segment in the last hour of Liz Kershaw’s show. I knew he’d get some Dinosaur Jr on :D & finally I know how to pronounce Ayoade properly…

As a new fan of Boosh, IT Crowd and a few other fine British/UK shows, I am so happy to have found this site! I feel a little less lost and much more informed on the goings on of all the guys. Can’t wait til Submarine is available here!
