Dublin are lucky enough to play host to the second Give Me Direction scriptwriting conference on Thursday 17th & Friday 18th June.

Their main focus this year is on the ‘theme of comedy’, and Alice Lowe and Jacqueline Wright of Jackal Films are part of a host of guests for the event. Not only that but Jesse Armstrong and Sam Bain who co-wrote the newly released feature, Four Lions with Chris Morris will also be making an appearance!

This is a great opportunity for any aspiring scriptwriter; whether it be in comedy or not, to get a crash course from the professionals, or even if you simply want to bask in Jackal glory, head over here for tickets!

If you’re a Lowe fan however, and Dublin is just too far for you, then here’s a teaser snippet from the new short  – that you may remember us reporting about, way back here and there, entitled, Dead Happy!
