Rich Fulcher‘s official website has had an extreme makeover.
The Mighty Boosh star has shifted his site over to WordPress, enabling regular blog updates, and photo galleries galore. Rich will be posting news from his weird and wonderful world over there, but never fear – we’ll continue to keep you posted on his adventures and those of the wider world of Booshdom.
Rich has been kind enough to give The Velvet Onion a couple of plugs in recent weeks, and all of us here are very glad he’s enjoying what we do! Now all of you… go and see his shiny new site in return!
And all our Australian readers out there – don’t forget Rich is bringing Eleanor The Tour Whore to the Adelaide Fringe all this week in a run of sold-out shows, and then he and his cowriter and director Dave Brown will be bringing Eleanor’s one woman show to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival for a four week residency at the end of the month. For more info, read our previous story: The Whore Of Oz.

Dave Brown of The Mighty Boosh has launched a brand new photo blog to showcase his work past and present.
The Ape Enclosure already houses a variety of pictures, including one of Dave’s charity portaits of the gorilla Mjukuu – who currently resides in London Zoo, and another of Rich Fulcher‘s homage to The Shining.
Dave hopes to update the page every day, so keep checking back for more great shots from this stunning photographer, who just happens to be a gorilla on the side. And was once a Naan bread.
Visit The Ape Enclosure and get a pretty good feelin’ about somethin’ right now, and check into Dave’s Twitter account for updates, ramblings and funny stuffs from the monkeyman.

We usually try to avoid tabloid fodder at The Onion, but these photos are such classics we felt we had to share them.
Last week (2nd March) Julian and Noel were VIP guests at a small and sweaty Kiss gig at the Islington Academy. According to people who went they were seen leaving their seats in the posh upstairs section to join the hairy masses in the mosh pit downstairs. Nice to hear they’re keeping it real! However unlike most of the other Kiss fans there, the boys were able to get photos taken with their heroes.
